It might be hard to believe that we’re coming to the end of the year, but 2019 is only around the corner. Before we can reel in the new year however, there is the small matter of New Year’s Eve.
The place to be on 31 December is NoLIta bar on George’s Street South, for their Studio 54 NYE party. If you haven’t heard of Studio 54, it was without question the most bonkers nightclub that ever existed.
Dolly Parton once turned the dancefloor into a petting zoo with horses, donkeys and chickens. Not to mention the time Mick Jagger’s wife Bianca cantered into the club on a dashing white horse.
It’s a shame we don’t have this kind of decadence anymore.
New Year’s Eve Party in Nolita
Everyone who was anyone used to frequent Studio 54; from John Lennon to Michael Jackson and Arnold Schwarzenegger. We can’t promise anyone of that stature will be in Dublin, but we can promise a night you won’t want to forget.
Tickets for the event can be purchased online, and it’ll get you complimentary drinks from 9-11 pm. DJ Michael McKenna will be providing the music for the night, and they want to take you right back to the glory days of the 1970s.
The dress code is simply “Spectacular,” which we guess means you should dress like a 70s celebrity.
