Ireland’s First Popeyes Drive-Thru Is Coming To Naas
Ireland’s first Popeyes drive-thru is on the way, and it will open at a new €15 million Applegreen service area in Naas, Co Kildare, later this year, The Journal reported. The site, close to the Naas Ball at Junction 9 on the M7, is expected to create 150 jobs.
What’s coming with the Popeyes drive-thru
“Our new service area at the Naas Ball reflects our ambition to raise the bar for roadside hospitality in Ireland,” said Seamus Stapleton, Managing Director of Applegreen’s Republic of Ireland business, adding that recruitment for the 150 roles is already under way.
With almost 200 sites in the Irish market, Applegreen is ploughing money into its network, part of the kind of consumer expansion tracked over on JOE’s Life desk.
