People from these parts embarking on travels to far flung destinations is nothing new, particularly in recent years, so those making the trip have to up their game to ensure that their experiences are more than just the ‘spent three months in Asia and then went onto Australia’ tales you’ll hear from a pretty significant percentage of young Irish people these days.

With that in mind, Iain McNamara, Chris McGrath and Kevin Cobbe from Lucan decided to document their experiences of travelling through 23 countries by writing a blog about their travels and, more importantly, Irish dancing in front of some of the famous landmarks they encountered along the way, including Machu Picchu in Peru, Iguazu Falls in Brazil and the summit of the Villarrica volcano in Chile.

We should warn you that it will probably have you rushing to the travel agent’s to book your own trip as soon as possible, but you can check out the lads’ account of their experiences on their thewirld blog here.

We’re not jealous, we’re not jealous at all.

Hat-tip to Iain McNamara himself for sending this one our way
