Yep, you read that right.
The words ‘Adam Sandler’ and ‘murder mystery’ have probably never been used in the same sentence until today.
Add Jennifer Aniston into the mix and you probably think you’re having some sort of fever dream.
But it’s happening, whether you like it or not.
The aptly named Murder Mystery will be released on Netflix in 2019.
The two are combining for a modern day whodunnit, in which Sandler and Aniston become prime suspects in the murder of an elderly billionaire – Malcolm Quince.
Sandler plays a New York City cop, who finally takes his wife on a long promised European trip. They then meet a mysterious man played by Luke Evans, who manages to get them invited to an intimate family gathering on the Super Yacht of the aforementioned elderly billionaire.
You might recognise Evans from a few of The Fast and The Furious movies, and we definitely don’t need to tell you what Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston have done in the past.
The movie will begin filming this week in Montreal, and will also film in locations around Europe.
Although this doesn’t sound like Sandler’s typical type of movie, we can’t help but be a bit interested in it. And we know of one person who will definitely be buzzing, and that’s the Irish person who watched Just Go With It 308 times in 2017…
We expect to hear a lot more about this one before then…
