Anne Hathaway could be about to traumatise an entire generation of children as the star of The Dark Knight Rises and Les Misérables has been cast as the Grand High Witch in Robert Zemeckis' remake of the cult classic, The Witches.

In recent weeks, The Witches has been added to the Netflix library and we're big fans of Nicolas Roeg's adaptation of the Roald Dahl classic.

The Oscar-winning duo of Alfonso Cuaron (Gravity, Roma) and Guillermo del Toro (The Shape of Water, Pan's Labyrinth) are also involved.
