Here’s who’s on the Late Late and Graham Norton tonight

Something for everyone.

Conor Heneghan

Graham Norton

Staying in tonight?

As you’d expect, Graham’s couch is positively teeming with A-listers, but with one of the greatest GAA players of all-time and Conor McGregor’s coach amongst the guests, the Late Late is well worth a look too.

The Late Late Show airs on RTÉ One at 9.35 pm, with Graham kicking off an hour later at 10.35pm on BBC One.

The Late Late Show

Colm Cooper

The inter-county season has come to a close, but one of the all-time greats, Colm Cooper, has provided plenty of talking points for GAA folk following the release of his autobiography and his upcoming testimonial dinner, which has prompted quite an amount of debate.

The man better known as ‘The Gooch’ will chat to Ryan about the testimonial, about his book and about what life is like now he’s hung up the famous green and gold jersey for good.

Stefanie Preissner

Following the release of her new book, Why Can’t Everything Just Stay the Same?, acclaimed author Stefanie Preissner will tell Ryan about writing lengthy letters to Santa begging him not to bring her surprises, how she changed her life completely with an astonishing weight loss and having her own critically-acclaimed TV show.

John Kavanagh and James Kavanagh

One is arguably the most famous MMA coach in the world, the other is arguably the biggest Snapchat star in Ireland right now and both of them shared the same roof over their heads growing up.

Brothers John and James Kavanagh will chat to Ryan about the completely different and successful paths their lives have taken in recent years.

John might even shed some light on Notorious, an upcoming movie about Conor McGregor, which was filmed over four years and provides unprecedented access to the biggest UFC star on the planet.

Ronan Collins

Broadcaster Ronan Collins was getting ready to host an event recently when he lost power in one of his legs. Taken to hospital in the middle of the night, doctors quickly discovered he was in need of emergency surgery on his spine.

His story is captured in the upcoming RTÉ2 series Trauma and on Friday night he’ll be telling viewers how the speedy action of those medics saved him from permanent paralysis.

Jim Sheridan

The director of My Left Foot, The Boxer and many more famous films will discuss with Ryan his search for the perfect actor to play Phil Lynott in a forthcoming production about the frontman and his band, Thin Lizzy.

Jim will also be chatting about his upcoming Lockerbie project, the Dublin-Arabic Film Festival and as one of the public faces of the Apollo House campaign, why he remains passionately committed to tackling the homeless crisis in Ireland.

Budget discussion

A panel of well-known commentators will discuss the state of the nation in advance of next week’s budget.

Late Late Karaoke competition

Electric Eddie joins Ryan as three amateur singers battle it out to be crowned the Late Late’s karaoke king or queen.

The Graham Norton Show

Liam Gallagher

Fresh from the release of his new album, As You Were, the former Oasis frontman will join Graham for a chat and no doubt reaffirm his reputation as one of the most entertaining figures in music.

Fingers crossed he gets a good cup of tea…

Chris Rock

Having popped over to Ireland for a gig at the 3 Arena last week, one of the world’s biggest comedians will make an appearance ahead of a return to the UK for a series of shows just after Christmas.

Idris Elba and Kate Winslet

Two powerhouses of British cinema, Oscar-winner Kate Winslet and the great Idris Elba will discuss getting up close and personal in their latest movie, The Mountain Between Us.
