Now that we’re looking down the barrel of semester two, we got to thinking about some of Hollywood’s depictions of college life. From the crazy parties in Bad Neighbours (2014) to backstabbing geniuses in The Social Network (2010), they probably don’t reflect the experience of your average Irish student.
The vast majority of the time, movies make college out to be the best place on earth. We’re sure that plenty of you would agree with that, but we’re yet to experience a frat party like the ones we’ve seen in movies.

There has been no shortage of classic college movies over the years, be it a comedy, drama or thriller. College movies have helped bring us some of our most famous stars, like Ryan Reynolds with Van Wilder (2002) and Dustin Hoffman with The Graduate (1967).
