The third season of the gripping post-apocalyptic sci-fi series Silo is now available to watch on streaming.
Accessible through the Apple TV service, the show is based on the Silo trilogy of novels by author Hugh Howey.
The story centres around the last 10,000 people on Earth and their mile-deep underground bunker home protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside.
"However, no one knows when or why the silo was built, and any who try to find out face fatal consequences," the plot synopsis adds.
"Rebecca Ferguson (Dune) stars as Juliette, an engineer who seeks answers about a loved one's murder and tumbles onto a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to discover that if the lies don't kill you, the truth will."
Throughout its run so far, Silo's cast has also included Alexandria Riley, Common, David Oyelowo, Geraldine James, Harriet Walter, Iain Glen, Rashida Jones, Sienna Guillory, Steve Zahn, Tim Robbins and Will Patton.
While the sci-fi was already acclaimed for its performances, its intriguing setting, and its constant air of paranoia, season three is earning the series' best reviews yet, holding a perfect 100% Rotten Tomatoes score.
In particular, critics are praising the show's introduction of a split timeline, which switches between Juliette in the post-apocalyptic future and a new plot thread following a congressman (Ashley Zuckerman) and journalist (Jessica Henwick) in the "Before Times".
