Stranger Things took the TV world by storm this summer as people became entranced by the upside down world and the adventures of Eleven and the gang.
For some shows like Daredevil and House of Cards, there was a huge hype and build up to their release, but Stranger Things exploded into people's consciousness without such fanfare.
The Duffer Brothers' creation had great reviews, high viewership and above all, some stunning episodes.
Season 2 is currently in production following the cliffhangers that finished off Season 1 and there's rumours circulating about what will happen in the coming season including the return of a certain character.
Stranger Things director Shawn Levy recently spoke with Collider about the upcoming season and possible plots, and without giving too much away, he did reveal the following.
"Will Byers was in that Upside Down for a while. So Season 2 is about this determined desire to return to normalcy in Hawkins, in the Byers family, in that group of friends, and it's the struggle to reclaim normalcy and maybe the impossibility of it."
We saw at the end of last season that people were relatively content in the month after the events, but the next season promises to be a battle for the characters to return to normality.
Something, we assume, won't be straight forward.
