Here’s a look at the second trailer for Elysium, the futuristic sci-fi movie from the District 9 director Neill Blomkamp as brought to you by the good folk over at Magnet.
Elysium is set in the year 2159 where a war-torn Earth has been abandoned by the rich, leaving the poor to die. As if the rich would do that, right? RIGHT???
For the rich who live in Elysium, an artificial world built on a space station, they have no poverty, no sickness, and want for nothing, so it’s basically a paradise in the sky.
The movie stars Jodie Foster as the mayor of Elysium and Matt Damon who attempts to get to the outer space haven in order to help his fellow ‘poor people’ back on Earth.
We have to say, Elysium actually looks very good and judging by the trailer Matt Damon plays a pretty good role in it too. But we’ll have to wait until August before we can fully make our minds up.
Until then we suggest you check out Neill Blomkamp’s District 9 online, because, well… it was class. But make sure to have the best broadband in town before you try downloading it (legally, mind you). Thankfully, the lads over at Magnet will be able to sort you out with their fatpipe which has up to 70mb broadband speeds.
