Video: Fight Club recreated as an 8-bit video game is amazing, as are the 7 things you didn’t know about the classic film

“You met me at a very strange time in my life”…

JOE doesn’t imagine that Fight Club director David Fincher is overly fond of parties, celebrations and cake but the talented film-maker has plenty of reasons to be happy in the next few weeks.

His new film Gone Girl looks absolutely superb, his classic ’95 thriller Se7en turned 19 recently and his most celebrated film Fight Club is set for its 15th birthday in a few weeks time.

We absolutely adore his adaptation of the classic Chuck Palahniuk novel, so much so that it in spired us to start our own Project Mayhem in JOE Towers.

Our anarchic plans involved switching the sugar with the salt, tying peoples shoelaces together and throwing water balloons at the Her.ie ladies.

This wildly inappropriate anti-social behaviour is the direct result of us knowing the film inside-out and back to front but this video, revealing 7 interesting facts and anecdotes, even enlightened us.

Take a look.

If that wasn’t enough fighty fight fight action then this video of the film re-created as an 8-Bit video is superb.

Just remember, “It’s only after we’ve lost everything that we’re free to do anything”.
