We cannot wait…

Ahead of the release of their very funny-looking new comedy, Daddy’s Home, Hollywood superstars Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg have announced that they’re coming to Dublin for the film’s Irish Premiere on Monday 7 December.

This isn’t just another press release or a bog-standard generic announcement though, because Will and Mark (yeah, we’re going for first-name terms here) have actually recorded this personal message for their Irish fans.

Check them out…

You heard the men, somebody get the pubs ready. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, SOMEBODY GET THE PUBS READY.

Daddy’s Home will be released in Irish cinemas on 26 December, just in time for you to hide the last of the Brussels sprouts dutifully eat the last of the Brussels sprouts, thank your Aunty Bina for the new socks, and head down to your local cinema for this very funny festive film.

JOE’s personal hero, Will Ferrell, stars as the mild-mannered Brad, a man who wants to be the best step-Dad he can be to his wife’s two kids, but it’s a task that’s made all the more difficult when Dusty (Mark Wahlberg), the kids’ real Dad, arrives in town to compete for their affection.

Looks like we’ve got ourselves a good old-fashioned Dad-off.

Here’s the top-notch trailer to get you in the mood ahead of their highly-anticipated arrival…
