WATCH: Michael Fassbender sings an Elvis song at an event in his honour in Killarney

Conor Heneghan

And by the looks of things, he was thoroughly enjoying it.

Friday, October 7 was a very proud day for Michael Fassbender, as he was inducted into the Order of Innisfallen at a black-tie ball in the Europe Hotel in his native Killarney.

To be inducted into the Order of Innisfallen is a very big deal in Killarney and Fassbender said that he was “deeply humbled” by the honour, describing his homeland as “a very magical place”.

Once the formalities were out of the way, the celebrations started and it wasn’t long before Michael was up on stage to join crooner Ken Kirwan for a version of Elvis Presley’s ‘Suspicious Minds’.

And he wasn’t holding back.

Handsome, charming, talented and well able to hold a note; is there anything the man can’t do?

Cheers to Ken Kirwan for sending this our way. Got a story for JOE? Hit us up on Facebook or Twitter, send it to our WhatsApp number 087-4001102 or mail [email protected].
