Take note if you’re flying soon.

A number of flights to and from the UK – including Irish flights – have been cancelled due to the cold weather.

RTÉ confirmed the news on Sunday morning.

Birmingham Airport has provided the following update “Due to heavy snowfall, we have temporarily suspended flights whilst we clear the runway. Our teams are working hard to get flights in/out as soon as they can and we will keep this website up to date with latest information. To check the flight schedules, please check the departures/arrivals page of this site or contact your airline. A contact list can be found here.”

Flights in and out of East Midlands Airport have also been delayed to due to the heavy snowfall. The runway will be temporarily closed until at least midday.

Manchester, Luton, Belfast, Liverpool and various other airports are advising all passengers to check their flights while the authorities at Bristol are asking passengers to please “allow extra time for your journey to the airport and take care during the adverse weather conditions.”

If you’re flying soon, please check with your relevant airline/airport.
