Two people were hospitalised in the dog attack.
A male sustained “serious facial injuries” in a dog attack in Dublin on Tuesday (26 September).
In a statement to JOE, a Garda spokesperson said officers in Crumlin received a call to attend a residence in the area at around 12.30pm after a male and a female suffered injuries caused by a dog.
According to Gardaí, both people were transported to hospital for medical treatment.

“The male suffered serious facial injuries while the female received injuries to her arm,” the spokesperson added.
“The local dog warden subsequently seized the dog and it has since been destroyed.”
