Gerard Maguire is a man of action.
Mondelez, owners of Cadbury, announced on Thursday that they will be discontinuing production of both the Pink Snack and the Time Out bars later this year.
More than 200 people will lose their jobs because of this action and Gerard Maguire of 64 Wine in Glasthule wants to save both those people’s employment and his favourite tea-time snack.
Maguire revealed how he initially bought as many Pink Snacks as he could but felt bad at depriving other people, so started up the petition which you can find details of here.
The man is a crusader.
