The ‘operation’ apparently cost young Jasmine €15,000… but it didn’t, because it was probably all a publicity stunt.
The likely hoax was found out after the internet-rumour site Snopes connected the name ‘Jasmine Tridevil’ with a young massage therapist from Tampa, Florida, named Alisha Hessler.
Ms Hessler just so happens to own the domain JasmineTridevil.com and the pictures on Ms Hessler’s social media accounts look exactly like Jasmine Tridevil – minus the extra boob, of course.
A Florida news station called 10 News then went one step further and obtained a luggage theft report filed earlier this month by a Ms Alisha Hessler at Tampa International Airport after her bag was stolen off an American Airlines conveyor belt.
After finding the bag, police took an inventory report of its contents to ensure that the thieves didn’t make off with any of Ms Hessler’s belongings and one of the items found in the bag was a... that's right, you guessed it... a $5,000 '3 breast prosthesis.'
Hmm, so there you have it. It’s like that damned
child-snatching golden eagle all over again…
