SURVEY: We asked our readers how often they change their bedsheets and we think they might be fibbing

So fresh and so clean

Paddy McKenna

This can’t be right.

We recently carried out massive national surveys across JOE.ie, Her.ie, SportsJOE.ie and HerFamily.ie about their lives, loves, work, home and politics.

We’ve already revealed that the majority of JOE readers are set to vote ‘yes’ in the upcoming marriage referendum and, more surprisingly, that JOE’s users rank Enda Kenny as Ireland’s most influential man.

Over 6,000 of you responded on a variety of topics and some of the findings really caught our eye.

Like how often JOE users change the bedsheets:

Bedsheets

Let’s boil those percentages down to one truly gobsmacking finding: 95% of  JOE users change their bedsheets *at least* once a month.

Furthermore, one in four of you neat and tidy suckers change them at least once a week.

So fresh, so clean.

Outkast

Does the fact that we at JOE find this hard to believe say more about us than you?

Hasn’t everyone got that, ahem, friend, that during college only changed his sheets if there was an unavoidable act of God, like a roof leak or a kebab spillage.

Mess gif

For the record, 74% of our respondents were male, with 81% aged between 18-34 years of age.

*Staying with A Slice Of Ireland, our sisters over at Her.ie have been looking at how much time Irish women spend online… and what they’re doing while they’re on.
