Tavistock Town Council are based in Devon and like most local government entities, they have a presence on Facebook. Like most businesses on social media, they like to advertise jobs.
This job advert had good intentions at heart, but it read like something a hell of a lot naughtier. Advertising the position for a General Hand, they inadvertently created an ad of ’50 Shades of Grey’ proportions as reported by the Plymouth Herald.
They’ve since amended the advert to say ‘General Hand Level 1 Job vacancy’ which is nowhere near as much fun as the previous one sounded.
