On Thursday, Scotland will decide whether it fancies remaining a part of the UK or if they want to go it alone. After a long run up to the referendum, the debate has seriously heated up in recent weeks, with polls showing the vote is neck and neck just days before the vote.
The number of issues involved, from economic factors to questions of national identity, can seem quite complex to those of us who haven’t been following every twist and turn of the campaign. That’s why this nifty piece of work by John Oliver from last night’s ‘Last Week Tonight’ show is so good.
In an entertaining fashion, Oliver summarises the entire campaign, the possible implications of a Yes vote and how David Cameron might yet save the day. It also features a unicorn.
