It's a Grand Slam Special on The Hard Yards rugby show this week, we look at all the events of Twickenham and bask in just how good of an achievement this was by the Irish team.


Host Andy McGeady and SportsJOE reporter Pat McCarry were joined in studio by Kevin McLaughlin and James Downey, and Chris Farrell also joined the panel over the phone.

One topic that came up on the show was Johnny Sexton and his performance at the weekend.

On The Hard Yards, former Munster and Ireland centre James Downey was [from 9:00 below] was glowing in his praise of the Leinster player. Downey also spotted a class moment between Carbery and Sexton at half-time.

"He high-fived him, patted him on the back of the head and the two of them ran in together. It was just that unity and togetherness; it's great."
