But that's not all - it will also take hold of a person's phone screen; freezing it until the recipient replies to you.
It was actually invented by a dad who was sick of his 13-year-old son not texting him back.
His son constantly said that he couldn't hear it because his phone was on silent (that good 'ol excuse), so his father found a way of combating that problem.
The app, ReplyASAP, basically makes you impossible to ignore... but there is a catch.
The person has to download the app too, and accept you as a friend.
It's free to download, but you have to pay around €1 for every friend you have, and the more people that connect with you, the more the price goes up.
It's available on Android now and will be coming to iOS within the next week.
