It looks like the problem of football holliganism has reared its ugly head in Portugal.
We know that they take their football seriously on the Iberian peninsula, and judging by this video, that goes for every man, woman and child of any age, at least in Portugal.
As the European teams all take their ridiculously foolish winter break where their players get to rest during the coldest part of the year, Braga came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Maritimo, and overcome with the festive spirit (or possible spirits), a few of their supporters decided to charge on to the pitch to celebrate. That included this lovely lady, who was having none of it when the stewards tried to get her off the field and back into the stands.
She laughs it off as she exits, so it’s good to see a bit of Christmas cheer from a veritable football hooligan. It would also be nice to attend football matches in Braga’s frankly amazing looking stadium, which is just beautiful. Yeah we said beautiful. We have feelings and find certain things aesthetically pleasing and awe-inspiring.
