They looked like the perfect match…
First Dates Ireland was once again on our screens on Tuesday night, and while watching it, I can honestly say I spent half of the episode hiding behind my hands.
Cringeworthy, awkward, entertaining and addictive all spring to mind when First Dates is brought up, but they’ve succeeded in gaining a lot of viewers.
Tuesday’s episode featured talk of road frontage, a few dates which went well and others which are consigned to the dust bin of bad dates.
But one pair which caught the hearts of the viewers was the date of Laois man Eoin with nurse Tara, which turned out to be the first match of the current series.
Viewers at home loved the pair…
If the farmer and the nurse don’t go to Coppers after their date we have a massive problem here and I refuse to believe in true love anymore #FirstDatesIRL

But, while the pair agreed to go on another date, did anything ever happen between the pair?
Unfortunately, while the pair met up again after the show, their love did not blossom into a relationship.
According to the Leinster Express, the pair remain good friends but there’s “nothing intimate” between the pair.
