We don’t have to wait long at all…

In recent years, Drake has become one of the biggest artists in the world.

Every time he releases a song, the internet almost shuts down with anticipation.

He’s had a bad summer so far though…

Veteran rapper Pusha T released two diss tracks aimed at the Canadian superstar, one of which alleged that Drake fathered and neglected a hidden child…

Ouch.

Drake hasn’t released any sort of response to the allegations yet, but we reckon we’re going to be hearing him speak on the topic soon enough.

His new album Scorpion will be released on 29 June, and we doubt he’ll go through the entire thing without addressing these damning rumours.

Every one of Drake’s past five albums have gone immediately to number one in the billboard charts, so we can safely assume that Scorpion will do the same.

In 2018 alone, he has released the hit ‘God’s Plan’, which was immediately overtaken at number one by another Drake song, ‘Nice For What’.

In between those two he also featured on the song ‘Look Alive’, which has accumulated over 200 million streams on Spotify in less than five months.

Combine this with the fact that he has also released two albums in the last two years, and you’ve got a pretty hefty body of work. So if his 2018 so far is anything to go by, Scorpion might be a classic in the making.

He announced the release date of the album on Instagram in the early hours of the morning, to the delight of his millions of fans around the world.
