Gardaí in Kildare stop car driving with no lights, discover staggering list of offences

This could have potentially been very dangerous.

One thing wrong, we could understand.

Two things wrong, listen, we all have bad days.

Three things wrong, well, maybe see if your car was cursed by a witch.

But this is another incredible example of Gardaí pulling a car over for initially innocuous reasons, only to discover a multitude of things wrong. And this is far from the first time that this has happened.

Remember this one, with no licence but loads of extra drugs on board?

Or this one, with the open bottle of wine in the cup holder?

Or maybe this one, because the driver was committing one of the worst speeding offences of the year?

Or this other one, also in Kildare, when Gardaí stopped and seized a van with a staggering amount of things wrong with it?

Well, here we are, another day, another concerning story involving the Garda pulling someone for something that began as fairly innocuous, but turned into something much more potential dangerous.

As they posted to Twitter, Garda in Naas received reports of a car driving with no lights in the area, and they eventually intercepted this driver on the N7 Kill.

They soon discovered that not only did the driver have no licence, no insurance, no tax, and no NCT, but the driver also failed the roadside breath test for drink driving.

The car has been seized and the driver is expected to appear in court soon.
