The nominations for the 71st Golden Globes were announced today in LA as TV and film fans count down the days until the beginning of the annual awards season extravaganza.
Ireland’s own Olivia Wilde, funny man Aziz Ansari and a weirdly-accented Zoe Saldana made the announcement on behalf of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, in a mini ceremony ahead of the massive ceremony which will be held on Sunday January 12th in Beverly Hills and which will be hosted by two of JOE’s favourite funny females Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
JOE is currently trying to frantically book that date off work as we’ll inevitably be invited to the event as Tina Fey’s plus one. We’re sure we’ll receive an e-invite or fax or letter-by-pigeon or something in just a moment or two.
Aaaaany minute now…
