Penelope won't thank him for the picture, mind.

The already stellar cast of Zoolander 2 got even more stellar-er (we know it's not a word) today after Ben Stiller confirmed that Penelope Cruz will appear in the sequel to the ridiculously popular comedy. Stiller confirmed the news by posting a picture of Cruz from her childhood years on his Instagram page, the type of picture that is only meant to be seen by immediate family members and close relatives.

Cruz joins original cast members Stiller, Owen Wilson, Will Ferrell and Christine Taylor for the sequel, while like Cruz, Kristen Wiig and Kim and Kanye will ensure that all cast members conform to the need to be really, really ridiculously good-looking. The release of the sequel is a long way, away yet so we don't know what to expect, but we're so excited about it we're practising our Magnum, Blue Steel and Ferrari looks in the mirror as we speak.
