BREAKING NEWS: Irishman Fassbender in the running as the nominations for the 86th Academy Awards are announced

Aaaaany minute now... Irishman Michael Fassbender has bagged himself a well-deserved nomination for his terrifyingly terrific performance as Epps in 12 Years A Slave. He will, however, be up against the Academy Awards machine that is TWO TIME OSCAR NOMINEE JONAH HILL. Now there's a sentence nobody thought they'd ever have to write.

Bono and the boys, following on from their recent success at the Golden Globes, have also picked up a nomination for their song 'Ordinary Love' from the soundtrack to Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom. Here are the nominations in full:
