Game of Thrones Season 8

We’re counting down the days.

It is now just over a month until Season 8 of Game of Thrones is released, and just like everyone else, we can’t wait.

There is so much to speculate about at the minute. What does The Night King want? Who is going to sit on The Iron Thone when all is said and done? What the hell is going to happen when Jon and Daenerys figure out that they are actually related?

We have so many questions!

And although this video doesn’t actually answer any of our burning questions, or come close to it, it does make us even more excited for the final season than we already were.

A brief video released by the official Game of Thrones YouTube account showed a behind the scenes look at the prosthetics and special effects on the show.

It’s quite an interesting look at exactly how they make the stuff in the show look so cool. Take a look:

Game of Thrones is often praised for how cinematic it looks, despite being a TV show, and all the work that the team in the video do is a fairly good reason why.

Barrie Gower, the prosthetics designer on the show, finished the video by saying: “The end is nigh, but I think it’s going to be a big end.”

Bring on 14 April.
