Harry Potter convention

Merlin’s beard! This is going to be great.

A lot of people are on a bit of a Harry Potter buzz at the moment.

This is because Fantastic Beasts 2: The Crimes of Grindelwald has recently hit our cinemas, and it has gotten everyone thinking about the Wizarding World once again.

And if you are one of the many people who can’t get enough of J.K. Rowling’s creations at this point in time, then you will be delighted with this news.

After the success of the first event, which took place at the Red Cow Hotel in Dublin earlier in November, the organisers have now added another show, and moved to the far bigger venue of the RDS.

The event will take place on 13-14 July.

As they state on their official website: “It’s a chance for wizarding fans to come together and share their love of the characters, books, movies and stories.”

The show also features a ball for grown up witches and wizards to dance the night away like they are at the Yule Ball.

The convention will also feature escape rooms, wizard bingo, photo sets, props and stars from the Wizarding World who are yet to be revealed.

Sounds like any Potter fan’s dream.

The event also has three charity partners – Dog’s Trust, Barnardo’s and Pieta House.

Tickets for the event can be found here.
