You can do your bit for charity and show off your Harry Potter knowledge in one night.

Have you ever been present while someone has announced to a group that they've never seen any of the Harry Potter movies, or read the books? It's a sight to behold. You immediately see a combination of shock and disgust on people's faces, mostly because of how rare it is. And because of how popular the HP franchise is, we'd imagine you could come up with a fairly solid Harry Potter pub quiz team for this event happening at the end of the month.

A fundraiser organised by DCU's chemistry society for Irish Heart Foundation is being held in The Slipper in Ballymun on Thursday 28 March.

There's a maximum of four people per team, so if you fancy acting the Hermione Granger and carrying your friends to glory, you can do so then.

There will also be a raffle on the day, the price of which will be fully donated to the charity.

So get your house colours on and put all the studying you've done for your OWLs to good use.
