We want to see a sequel to The Greatest Showman, but we’re not sure about this.

Hugh Jackman has been vocal about the fact that he wants to do a sequel to The Greatest Showman in the past, but it’s starting to seem like he’s had a bit of a change of heart.

In a recent interview with Steve Wright on BBC Radio 2, when he was asked whether or not he was going to be in the sequel, he said: “The real answer is ‘could be’, I’m not sure. I’m being completely honest with you, there is talk of something going around but no one is really sure… No one is really sure right now, so that’s the honest truth.”

When pressed on the matter, he once again said: “I don’t know.”

Wow. Not necessarily positive from the Australian. But at least he seemed to suggest that there is definitely something in the works.

He said: “But I think someone is working on a treatment for something… I know they are, they’re working on a treatment for something.”

Maybe Zac Efron can take the lead, based on the first movie he seems more than capable.

Jackman’s stadium tour kicks off next month, and he will perform three nights in Dublin’s 3Arena at the end of May.
