Annie Mac is one of the best live DJs in the business and she’s proving to be just as good a radio presenter according to the latest Rajar figures in the UK.
The Dubliner took over from Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1 in March and her audience is now 1.7 million people which is 110,000 higher than Lowe when he left the show.
The daily evening show plays the best new music on the planet and she’s featured plenty of Irish acts like All Tvvins, Otherkin and Sorcha Richardson over the past few months.
Annie Mac is such an Irish success story, we’re dead proud.
