What an achievement.
Irish film is in a very good place at the minute.
Shortly after Saoirse Ronan won the New York Film Critics Circle Award for Best Actress for her performance in Brooklyn, Song Of The Sea and The Lobster have picked up even more plaudits at the 2015 European Film Awards.
The Oscar-nominated Song Of The Sea, from Irish animation studio Cartoon Saloon, won Best European Animated Feature, while The Lobster, starring Colin Farrell, won Best European Screenwriter and Best Costume Design.
