Irish TV audiences will be seeing a lot more of James Corden in the near future

We’ll leave you to decide whether that is a good or a bad thing.

James Corden is set to become a regular fixture on TV in Ireland and the UK after it was announced that The Late Late Show will be available to Sky customers from July 19 onwards.

Thanks in no small part to the wildly popular Carpool Karaoke series, The Late Late Show has taken off in a big way in the US, massively increasing Corden’s profile in the process.

From next month, Sky customers in the UK and Ireland will be able to see the show on Sky One the day after it is broadcast in the US.

As well as that, The Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special, featuring some of Corden’s favourite moments from the aforementioned segment, will be broadcast on Sky One on July 19.

Speaking about the move, Sky Content managing director Gary Davey said: “The Late Late Show has become a global cultural phenomenon and the U.K. and Ireland audience has delighted in James’ runaway stateside success.

“There is a huge appetite from U.K. and Irish fans to enjoy the antics of The Late Late Show firsthand and we are thrilled to exclusively bring the show direct to our customers.”
