Late Late Graham Norton line up

It’s most certainly a night for the veterans on both shows tonight.

On the Late Late, there will be a celebration of one of Ireland’s most famous and beloved bands, while one of our finest ever sportsmen will be dropping by for a chat.

Over on Graham, meanwhile, two of the best actors in the business will be on to chat about their latest movie projects.

The Late Late kicks off as usual at 9.35pm on RTÉ One, with The Graham Norton show going out at 10.35pm on BBC One and 11.05pm on BBC One Northern Ireland.

The Late Late Show

  • Aslan – 30 years since their iconic album, Feel No Shame, lead singer Christy Dignam and guitarist Billy McGuinness will chat to Ryan about how Aslan made their big breakthrough, the highs and lows that followed and their longevity and legacy. They’ll also perform some of the best-known songs from the album three decades after its release.
  • Padraig Harrington – The three-time major winner and arguably Ireland’s most fascinating sports figure will explain to Ryan why he is loving golf more than ever after recapturing what it was that made him love the game in the first place.
  • Joan Freeman and Theresa Lowe – A woman known to a certain generation of Irish people as the presenter of Where in the World? Theresa Lowe and her sister, Pieta House founder Joan Freeman, will chat about growing up together and their lives as high profile people in very different spheres.
  • Prime Time Missing People – Prime Time’s Barry Cummins will discuss the hundreds of people still missing in Ireland and the audience will hear from the family members of Deirdre Jacob, Fiona Sinnott and Cathal O’Brien, who have not given up the search for their loved ones.
  • Music from Mary Coughlan

The Graham Norton Show

  • Dame Helen Mirren – 72 years young and still going strong, Mirren will chat to Graham about her role in a new supernatural horror film called Winchester.
  • Liam Neeson – Fresh from a rather controversial appearance on The Late Late Show and an interview on these pages this week, the Ballymena man will tell Graham all about how he’s still kicking ass at the age of 65 in his new film, The Commuter.
  • Jamie Dornan – Setting pulses racing on the show will be County Down native Jamie Dornan, the star of Fifty Shades Freed, which is due to hit cinemas next month.
  • Sigrid – The 21-year old Norwegian singer and winner of the BBC Music Sound of 2018 award will drop by to perform her song, ‘Strangers’.
