The Late Late Show to broadcast live from somewhere in Ireland for St Patrick’s Day

It’s going on the road.

The Late Late Show is due to hit the road next month as it broadcasts a live show from Ireland, just not from the RTÉ studios as normal.

It’s not the first time The Late Late Show has left the sanctum of RTÉ after Tubridy presented a live show in London in October 2018.

But broadcasting a Late Late Show episode from somewhere in Ireland that’s not in RTÉ will be a new experience for host Ryan Tubridy.

“So we have a plan,” Tubridy said on his RTÉ Radio 1 show on Monday. “And it’s going to be happening very soon. And we’re going to be visiting a place where some of you might be living and listening this morning.

“I can’t say just yet, but I will be able to tell you in the next couple of days. Wednesday morning probably on this show.

“The reason we’re so excited is there’s just so much more fun about taking the show on the road and doing a big, big Irish Late Late Special. We’re looking forward to it no end. I’ll tell you about that on Wednesday.”

If you missed last week’s show, well, then you missed Roy Keane doing an interview while holding a puppy.
