Meryl Streep, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, and Timothée Chalamet are just some of the big names attached.
Welcome to #TrailerChest, where we're taking a sneak peek at the brand new trailer for Little Women.Plot's it all about? Truth be told, the extent of most people's knowledge of the 1868 novel is either from Joey putting it in the fridge, or from Moe weeping while reading it to kids.
However, the story has endured over a century of popularity and numerous adaptations because it is an emotionally powerful tale of four sisters who come of age in the aftermath of the Civil War in America, and this latest adaptation could see three-time nominee Saoirse finally bag that Oscar!
She is reteaming with her Lady Bird director, playing one of the four sisters alongside Emma Watson (from Harry Potter), Florence Pugh (from Midsommar), and Eliza Scanlen (from Sharp Objects), while Laura Dern and Meryl Streep will look over them, trying to pair them off with future husbands (one of which is So Hot Right Now Timothée Chalamet).
Considering the amount of talent in front and behind the camera, we fully expect this to be weighed down with Oscar talk once it is released before the end of the year.
Also, bring hankies. If it broke Joey and Moe, it will break you too.
Starring: Saoirse Ronan, Meryl Streep, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Timothée Chalamet, Laura Dern, Bob Odenkirk, Chris Cooper
