One of the best action movies of the decade is on TV tonight

Holding an 89% Rotten Tomatoes score, the film was directed by and stars an Oscar-nominated actor.

Patel also stars in the film as Kid, a young man in India who ekes out a meagre living as a heel and jobber in an underground fight club. There, night after night, wearing a gorilla mask, he is beaten bloody by more popular fighters for cash.

Through his work at the fight club, Kid has a plan to exact vengeance against the corrupt leaders who murdered his mother and continue to systematically victimise the poor and powerless.

This is thanks to Patel's commanding and sympathetic lead turn and the movie's blend of bone-crunching, stylish action and social commentary.
