A cinema in Shanghai was left a little red faced recently after management used an unofficial fan-made poster that featured Thor embracing his evil brother Loki in his arms.
Maybe the management at the cinema got wind that Ireland is to hold a same-sex marriage referendum in 2015 and they’re just trying to show their support, or else someone made a pretty big f**k up.
Instead of using the official poster featuring Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman, which looks like this…
…the theatre instead decided to use an unofficial poster they found on the internet that had been mocked up by a Thor fan. It looks a little bit different than the official poster:
The unofficial poster in question features Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston, instead of Chris and Natalie, and it’s sure to give Thor fans and moviegoers in general a good laugh.
The mistake was originally spotted by a Reddit user with the name InflamedMonkeyButts (we’ll assume it’s not his/her real name) who posted the pic to r/movies.
