ARTHUR CHRISTMAS A lovely animated movie about Santa's son Arthur (James McAvoy) who sets out to reunite a young girl with her lost Christmas present. CATHERINE CALLED BIRDY Lena Dunham (of Girls fame) writes and directs this medieval comedy about a young girl (Game of Thrones' Bella Ramsey), the daughter of a very poor Lord (Andrew Scott), who might be getting married off to the most wealthy - but most vile - suitor imaginable. 88% on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of writing! CATS & DOGS Cats and dogs are in the middle of secret war in this very entertaining family movie, with voice work by Tobey Maguire, Alec Baldwin and Sean Hayes. Cats & Dogs 2: The Revenge Of Kitty Galore and Cats & Dogs 3: Paws Unite! have also been added, but your kids deserve better. COCKTAIL Tom Cruise makes cocktails in the worst-reviewed movie of his career. COLD IN JULY After shooting an intruder dead, a man (Michael C. Hall) fears for his family's safety in the aftermath of the event. Don Johnson, Wyatt Russell and Sam Shepard co-star. CON-AIR Nic Cage is the nice guy on a plane full of dangerous criminals in this bonkers action thriller. THE COUNSELOR Ridley Scott directs Michael Fassbender, Cameron Diaz, Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz in this "sexy" "thriller". COYOTE UGLY A young songwriter (Piper Perabo) takes a job in a bar where the waitresses also dance on the counter. Seems unsafe. But everyone has a good time. DEJA VU Denzel Washington stars in this time-travel action thriller in which he must try to follow the footsteps of a terrorist in the days leading up to a devastating attack. ENEMY OF THE STATE Will Smith and Gene Hackman feature in this very entertaining action thriller, full of government intrigue and big explosions. FACE/OFF Another of the greatest action movies ever made, with Nic Cage and John Travolta swapping faces and shooting two guns while jumping through a room full of doves. FLIGHTPLAN Waking up mid-flight, a woman (Jodie Foster) discovers that her young daughter has disappeared... but nobody on board has any memory of the girl ever being on board. THE FULL MONTY A group of unemployed English lads take to stripping to make some money. LET ME IN The English-language remake of the hit Scandi-vampire thriller is effectively creepy. NOWHERE BOY Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays a young John Lennon in this decent musical drama. THE SOUND OF 007 As part of the recent celebrations for James Bond Day, this new documentary focuses on the much-loved music from the Bond franchise. THE VOID A group of strangers find themselves being held hostage by a group who believe the hospital they're taking refuge inside is actually a gateway to hell. X 2022's best scary movie so far...
