Talk about being in the right place at the right time.
Irish veterinary surgeon Noel Fitzpatrick rose to fame on Channel 4 thanks to his show, The Supervet, which highlighted what he sees as an extremely important bond humans have with animals.
And by the looks of it, he's got some serious skills, even when he's not recording his show.
The Laois man was making his way from a book signing in Easons to RTÉ for a Radio interview with Ray Darcy, when he spotted a swan in particular distress on a busy Donnybrook road.
Luckily, there can't have been anyone more qualified to deal with the situation.
He rescued the confused animal and safely brought it back to the canal.

What a man.
Fitzpatrick was in Easons signing copies of his new book Listening to Animals, which was released at the end of October.
