The documentary follows the relationship of Diana and Charles, across nearly two decades as constant targets for the tabloids and the 24-hour news cycle.
Archival video footage shows some of the key events in Diana's life, from their initial courtship, through to the wedding that the entire world watched and the arrival of their two sons.
It will also look at the couple's painful divorce, as well as Diana's untimely death on 31 August 1997.
The new documentary is directed by Oscar-nominated Ed Perkins (Black Sheep), and produced by the Oscar-winning creator of Man On Wire, as well as the Emmy-winning creator of the brilliant musical documentary Tina.
The Princess is available to stream with a NOW Entertainment Membership.
