Plot’s it all about: Based on a Patrick Ness novel of the same name, A Monster Calls documents the fantastical tale of a young boy, struggling to deal with his mother’s battle with cancer, who is repeatedly visited in the middle of the night by a story-telling monster. The original novel won multiple awards and if the trailer is anything to go by, visually, the movie looks absolutely stunning.
