The Milford star talks about her life and why her tattoos mean so much to her…

RTE’s new sports show Thank GAA it’s Friday will continues this Friday evening and one of the mains stars of this episode is Cork and Milford camogie player Ashling Thompson.

Thompson is in action in the All-Ireland quarter-final action against Offaly this weekend but she’s had t fight back from massive set-backs to even be able to wear the famous red jersey.

Ashling was involved in a serious car accident when she was just a teenager which took her years to recover from but she’s now excelling at the sport she loves and was part of Milford’s back-to-back All Ireland success over the past two years.
