We’ve said it before and we’ve said it again; like pretty much every child of the ‘90s, we’re shamelessly excited about this.
So far, we’ve had to get by on little teasers about what might be in store for yet another big-screen version of one of the most popular cartoons of all time, but with the latest official trailer from Paramount, we have a far better idea of what Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michaelangelo might be getting up to.
Well, kicking ass is what they’ll be getting up to as an incredibly-frightening looking Shredder threatens to wreak havoc in New York City, requiring the fabulous foursome to step in and, presumably, save the day while having an awful lot of craic at the same time.
There’s not getting away from the fact that it’s likely to be ridiculously corny and overblown (Michael Bay is involved after all) but if you’re willing to place your cynicism at the door, there appears to be plenty of thrills, spills, spectacular set-pieces and plenty of Megan Fox looking well in April O’Neill’s trademark yellow jacket.
