Vincent Browne, one of Ireland’s finest journalists, is to present his final episode of Tonight with Vincent Browne at the end of the month.
A story in The Sunday Times this week reveals that the veteran broadcaster, who has presented the current affairs and politics programme on TV3 for the last 10 years, will step down at the end of July.

Browne has been described by the Guardian as the “Ireland’s Jeremy Paxman,” and is well-respected for his knowledge and no-nonsense approach.
There is no word yet on TV3’s plans to replace Browne, who turns 73 this month. Tributes are already pouring in for the titan of Irish journalism.
If there ain't no @vincentbrowne it's just #Dinnybot TV. Nobody else in media ATM has that healthy disrespect for those in and around power.
