Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel used to be in a long term relationship a few years ago, but it is clear that they both still truly care for each other when Silverman joined Kimmel as a guest on his show during the week.
While they’re both on flying form, and there’s plenty of personal in-jokes that the audience aren’t laughing at but Silverman and Kimmel find hilarious, things take a turn for the more serious when the stand-up comedian and actress talks about a recent medical emergency that could’ve have easily ended with her death.
Yeah, that sounds pretty bleak, but this being Silverman it was never going to stay too serious for too long, and it isn’t long before she manages to reference everything from asparagus-looking penises to being an ISIS kidnap victim.
