Netflix has released the first trailer for its new mystery thriller series starring Bono’s daughter Eve Hewson.
Normally, when a show or a movie has a twist ending, the makers of that show or movie want to keep it under their hat for as long as possible, so as to really hammer home the surprise of it all.
Which is why it is such a surprise that Netflix has announced the twist ending as front-and-centre of its new mystery thriller series Behind Her Eyes.
Here is Netflix’s official synopsis of the show:
“Based on the number one best selling novel with *that* shock ending. Behind Her Eyes follows the entangled lives of single mother Louise and married couple Adele and David. Their story is romantic, thrilling and twisted at the same time, with an ending that is nothing short of shocking.”
We have seen the series (review coming soon!), and yes, we can confirm, the twist ending is definitely going to have a lot of people talking.
The show stars Bono’s daughter Eve Hewson and Murder on the Orient Express star Tom Bateman as the central married couple, with Simona Brown (The Little Drummer Girl) as the single mother who gets caught up in their very complicated relationship.
We won’t say much more than that for now, except that Behind Her Eyes debuts on Netflix on Wednesday, 17 February.
